I played 18 on the Canyon/Hills courses on 4/11 as a guest staying at the Westin. Course was in great shape. Everything was green, and tee boxes and greens were smooth.
Greens were hard to read or get a feel for though as a first time player. I teed off at 7:30am and they got much faster after the turn, once the sun had dried them out.
Canyon was tough and has tight landing spots and difficult angles on several holes off the tee and on approaches. I found lots of extra balls in the scrub on Canyon #2.
Staff was friendly and courteous. Course wasn't crowded and pace of play seemed to be managed well.
This is a five star resort that only gave a good performance as I stayed as part of a big (60 person) event. The resort is beautiful in the surface but several elevators were out, several ice machines not working (super inconvenient), and getting breakfast on Sunday breakfast took about 45-60 minutes to get the meal, albeit delish when it finally came. The fitness center was however, fantastic, and the Pool area was very nice.
This has the potential to be great like it was years ago, but this 3 night stay missed the mark.

The beds were comfortable. The rooms were quiet and clean. The property was safe. All of the staff was kind. Breakfast was delicious.
You don't have to pay for parking. Beautiful lobby. Excellent pools. They even have a water slide and a salt water pool.
The tennis courts were easy to rent and well maintained. 10/10 Will definitely visit again
I am a freelance photographer and I had the pleasure of photographing a vacation rental home in the area. The views the golf course has to offer with the Catalina Mountains in the background. Uff. Check out some of these drone shots. It's starting to feel like snowbird season!
La Paloma hosted the first round of #TheOven17 and the course was in amazing shape. The views out here can't be beat and the course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, will challenge even good players. They have a great clubhouse, too, with plenty of space for private events. If you ever get the chance to play here, do. The views alone are worth the trip.
I had a great time here today ! Enjoying a round of golf and some food and drinks while accompanied by a member, I found the facility to be a nice and accomodating place. The golf course was in beautiful condition for kid summer and provided a nice balance of styles; not too much "target golf" but not too forgiving. The views were spectacular as well. We also enjoyed a beer and apps at the clubhouse, a perfect way to end the round. I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit !
I'm a member here. Our member community is strong, active/energetic, but more importantly, more humble as compared to other member-financed clubs that I've had the privilege of visiting and/or investing in so far in my lifetime. Great facilities, great staff, great F&B, and good vision. Tennis, pickleball, golf, and gym facilities are second-to-none.
Today I spent time by the pool, amazing views of the mountains. We met David and he was so awesome, he went out of his way to find us a nice seat in the shade.
